LETTER TO PARENTS

Dear Parents,

I extend my sincere appreciation for your dedication and involvement. As we step into a new chapter of session 2025 -26, we look forward with all new enthusiasm and commitment. This year 2024-25 has been one of immense growth and learning, as we look back, we do so with pride and nostalgia.

Reflecting on the Past

In 2024, we set up a new milestone with The Ivy Global School being honoured with the “Best CBSE School in Bhopal” award by Education Today. Also we received award of “Excellence in Promoting Hybrid Learning” at the Eldrok India K-12 Summit, reflecting our commitment to excellence.

Our Grade X batch of 2024 achieved 100% results, with half of the class scoring over 80%. Nehal Patel topped with an impressive 95.8%. In Grade XII, the average score was 82%, with Shraddha Sreekumar leading with 91%. Our team also excelled at the INNOVAXIONS ATL Lab Inter-School State Competition, securing second place in the Ideathon category. The TIGS football team triumphed in the Under-14 Interschool Championship at IPS, overcoming 20 top schools. Vihan Tiwari, Pranav Thakur, and Atharv Chauhan earned individual accolades, while Ujjwal Verma secured a Bronze Medal in the Grappling Championship at the 17th GFI National Games.

At The Ivy Global School, we emphasize collaboration and knowledge exchange by hosting the successful Graviton sports fiesta and Tiranga cultural fest, with over 30 schools and 1,000 students participating. We also became a designated center for the CUET, supporting Grade XII students aiming for university admissions. Educational excursions to Hyderabad, the Parle Biscuit Factory, the Indira Gandhi National Museum, and the Science Museum enriched our students’ learning experiences.

We introduced a mentoring program for Grade X students, offering continuous academic and psychological support, and conducted career counselling sessions for Grades IX to XII. Our Annual Day, “Essentia: Living by the Values,” and the “Meraki” the subject exhibition were spectacular showcases of student talents. Special events like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Grandparent’s Day helped strengthen our Ivy family bonds, while the “Star of the Week” program for Grade Nursery to IIIrd allowed parents to connect with their child’s school life.

Our teachers participated in professional development through CBSE and the Global Teachers Summit, ensuring they are equipped to deliver top-quality education. The Language Accelerator Program (LAP), which shared daily vocabulary with parents and conduction of JAMS regularly, was a great success in making language learning a fun.

Path Ahead

As we look to the future, we are dedicated to continuously enhancing our facilities and offering new opportunities for our students. Building on the success of our robotics club this past year, we are thrilled to introduce a state-of-the-art Robotics, AI, and Composite Skill Lab in the upcoming academic session. Robotics will now be a core subject for students from Grade 3 to Grade 8, featuring a revamped curriculum designed in collaboration with IIT Delhi-backed Rancho Labs. Grade – Prep 1 to Grade -2 shall have introduction to Robotics & AI.

To further enrich our academic offerings, we are expanding our Language Accelerator Program by incorporating classic English literature for students in Grades 1 to 5, boosting language proficiency. Additionally, to foster a love for reading from the earliest stages, we are launching a separate physical space for our young readers- “Reading Den,” a special library space for our pre-primary students with new books.

In response to parent feedback, we are restructuring our sports curriculum to provide more diverse options for every student, with a particular focus on establishing a Roll Ball team.

We are proud to have composed and introduced our own school song, which beautifully represents the values and mission we stand by. We as school shall be making it an essential part of our school assembly from coming year.

As we have grown now, we would be in need of new classrooms for upcoming years. Therefore school shall carry on construction of new classrooms, a performing arts lab this academic year. The cafeteria is also undergoing a renovation, and once complete, it will offer an exciting, vibrant new space for students to enjoy.

Thank you parents for your encouragement and collaboration with school that has played pivotal role for making 2024 a successful one.

We remain committed to collaborating closely with parents, supporting each student’s learning journey, and ensuring a joyful, enriching educational experience in 2025.

With Best Regards,
Dr. Rajesh Sharma
