Our pedagogy in the middle years focuses on ‘how’ teaching happens and learning occurs. Middle years pedagogy is outcome-centric. We use an array of teaching strategies that include direct instruction, collaborative learning and inquiry-based learning. Ultimately, we aim to blend consistency and variety in teaching methods by combining established learning theories with innovative practices and programs. All of these help Learners improve their learning outcomes and achieve their full potential.
Our clearly defined outcomes are measured which helps to identify the progress students make after a specific learning activity, determining the gap between their existing learning state and their desired learning state while providing better direction to the planning of all learning activities.
Our Middle year program aims at equipping the child with skills to adapt in the ever-changing world along with a focus on concepts of Core subjects. The School follows a NEP compliant curriculum where teachers use various strategies to not only make it interesting but also develop various life skills along with learning.
Teachers use Active Learning Strategies like: Group discussions, Brainstorming, Think Pair Share, Guided discovery, etc for teaching the core subjects. This helps to inculcate the spirit of inquiry, initiate active participation of students in class, and teach them to collaborate with peers, and analyze and apply concepts better. Education and gaining knowledge becomes an experience in itself where learners look forward to learning.
